LEECHES! are a 3 piece punk band from Perth, Western Australia. They play short fast blasts of of thrash inspired
punk rock with just enough hooks to keep your neck sore. Their debut 7" 'Rott', was recorded in one afternoon for
beer at Murkin studios by Matty back in February, and the art work was done by Ray Ahn of Hard-Ons fame.
What you're left with is 4 songs that are raw as fuck, but that capture the energy and urgency that the
band are known for in a live setting. Their sound takes you back to the golden age of punk rock, think early SST
bands or a soundtrack to a 80"s skate movie. The band have played a handful of live gigs in Perth, with the likes of,
Agitated, Negative Reinforcement , Chainsaw Hookers, Helta Sketla, and a host of other home town favourites.
The band are heading over to Melbourne for 4 nights of shows in December, and plan to record a full length album
sometime next year.
